People always ask me if I like liver, I always say, of course I LOVE LIVER. It tastes good if you make it the right way. Contains lots of iron if your low on it this will help raise it up. Used as a great gravy or side dish for pasta as well. There's lots of ways to make this, but I love this recipe its easy and so filling. My family loves it. Bon Appetite!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2cup of milk

  • 2tbl of butter melted

  • 450g lambs’ or calves’ liver, sliced (thawed, if frozen)

  • 2 onions

  • 1/3 cup water

  • 1 cube of chicken broth

  • 2-3tbs ketchup

  • 5 big potatoes

  • I do to the consistency on how thick or thin I want it, so measurements can change

  • Salt and pepper add tumeric if u want

Step by step process:

  • First you need to cut the liver either in strips put in the frying pan,add some butter and keep stirring it until the liver is half cooked add the chopped onions, milk ketchup and all the spices stirring constantly if you want it thinner add more milk.

  • Peel the potatoes place in the water, salt it and let it boil until it's soft.

  • Mashed potatoes I strain but leave some water then just add butter l warm up some milk add and with a blender I mix it all up and serve.
