Your the apple to my Pie

Holy moly me oh my, you're the apple to my pie! What better smell is there than some good apple pie. This is the greatest start to my day, the aroma coming from this is definitely going to call all my neighbors over. I added a secret to this delicious pie. Scroll down to find out what it might be. Ingredients:

  • 1 whole box of puff pastry dough

  • 5 cups of apples.

  • 3 cups of raisins (secret ingredient)

  • 2 Tbl of cinnamon

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 cup of coconut oil

  • Any size round tin or pan

Step by step process:

  • Preheat oven to 375F

  • Take out puff pastry dough to defrost.

  • Chop all the apples and put them in a bowl,add the raisins in as well.

  • Make your egg wash in a small bowl,mix with water.

  • Grease your pan and place the dough in the pan for the bottom crust.

  • Add all the apple mix in in the pan.

  • sprinkle cinnamon over the apple mixture.

  • Cover the top with the puff pastry dough.

  • Cut lines so the dough can let some air out and brush the whole top with the egg wash.

  • Place in the oven for about 20mins or until gold brown on the top.

  • Cut the apple slices and let cool on top of the pie.
